Several years ago, David Biscaye discovered the Susan van der Linde boutique while walking down East 67th Street. He was struck by the colors, textures and aesthetic of the designs. Not long after that walk David visited SvdL and met Susan. The shared perspective and values launched a friendship and collaboration that has led to beautiful fashion creations for SvdL clients and now with David's curation of the BISCAYE FRÈRES COLLECTION at the SvdL boutique the combination is working in a whole new way.
David has spent his adult life in search of beauty. Influenced by continental design and style, he heads BISCAYE FRÈRES a New York architectural design and interior decoration firm. It's difficult to describe David with a label, adjective or title. He has an exceptional eye for color and form combined with a deep appreciation of historical details. His collection is comprised of one of a kind objects and decorations including artwork, a broad range of porcelain, lighting, accessories and furniture from antique to mid-century modern.
The video below takes you on a tour of David's curated collection currently displayed in-store. Viewing he tasteful display of the collection interspersed with the fashion of SvdL is a treat. The one of a kind items in this collection can be purchased in-store and many of the items will be available at SvdL.Com.
